The Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort
What you see is the interior of a 350 year-old oak tree. The oak was blown down in a windstorm and then we harvested it for not only this project, but The Hollowed Oak project, as well.
The Mohawk Project was a unique and special design. We are proud it remains at the forefront of the casino lobby in upstate New York.
The Pillars were crafted from five unique cottonwoods. Our specialized team individually hand-hewed each piece, which required numerous tools, skills, and a significant amount of time and attention.
The decorative hand-hewed cottonwoods were positioned strategically across from the oak Lobby desk. This created an inviting and warm ambiance for all guests at The Akwesasne Casino Resort.
